Community Update from Mayor J. Spike Harris
Good afternoon, Jonesboro. I am pleased to announce that the burn ban for the Town of Jonesboro has officially been lifted as of 12:00 noon today, March 12, 2026. I want to thank our residents for their patience, cooperation, and commitment to protecting our community during the burn ban period. Your willingness to follow the guidelines helped reduce fire risks and supported the safety of our neighborhoods and first responders. Although the ban has been lifted, I encourage everyone to continue exercising caution and practicing responsible burning. Please remain mindful of weather conditions, nearby structures, and safety precautions to ensure that we continue to keep Jonesboro safe. Together, we move forward with the same spirit of responsibility and community pride that makes our town strong.
