The Jonesboro Fire Department has achieved a historic milestone! Our PIAL fire protection rating has improved from a Class 3 to a Class 2, the first time this level has ever been reached in our town's history! What this means for our community: Stronger fire protection through improved standards and emergency response, potential insurance benefits for homeowners and businesses owners within the city limits, greater confidence for investors and developers considering a location in Jonesboro, and recognition of professionalism and dedication from our firefighters. This achievement reflects the hard work, training, and commitment of our Jonesboro Fire Department and Fire Chief Aaron Blalock.
